We currently manage household and residential waste. 

According to Iredell County, North Carolina, residential waste is waste that comes from daily activities in a household. This includes single and multi-family residences, mobile homes, and modular homes. Examples of residential waste include:

Bedding, Clothing, Floor sweepings, Food packaging, Kitchen waste, and Yard waste.

Our pricing is based on the type and amount of waste being managed. We offer custom pricing plans for our clients, including contracted rates for small businesses and communities within Iredell County. Submit a number of bins/dumpsters and your information via phone, email, or by submitting the contact us form on our main page.

Unfortunately, no. We attempted to make recycling work, but the costs of not only running the route but fees associated with utilizing the multi-sort center located in Mooresville outweigh the benefits of recycling at this time. We are unable to provide this service at this time.

Position the bin at the roadside at the mailbox depth from the roadway with the wheels away from the road, where the bin would open towards the road, where possible. We know this may not work for all situations. We are also able to accommodate disabled persons and our elderly population with special collection site requests.

We operate routes each day of the week and your day will be based on the address that you need serviced.  During sign-up, we will provide you all the details including your day of service, timing, what to expect, as well as answer any other questions you may have.

Terms and Conditions of Service

Effective Date: 3/14/2025

1. General Agreement

By subscribing to or using the services provided by North Iredell Sanitation, LLC ("NIS," "we," "our," or "us"), you ("customer" or "you") agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to garbage collection, recycling services, and dumpster rentals.

2. Service Agreement

NIS provides scheduled residential and commercial waste collection, recycling services, and roll-off dumpster rentals. Service availability depends on location and service type.

2.1 Garbage Collection

• Customers must place bins at the designated collection area before 6AM on their scheduled pickup day.
• Bins should be free of obstructions, including parked vehicles.
• Only waste inside the designated bin will be collected unless prior      arrangements are made for extra bags (additional fees may apply).
• Hazardous materials, liquids, batteries, electronics, and construction debris are prohibited.

2.2 Roll-Off Dumpster Rentals

• Dumpsters are available for a standard rental period of 1, 3, or 7 days. Extensions are available for an additional fee.
• Customers are responsible for ensuring the dumpster is placed on a stable surface with adequate clearance.
• Prohibited items include hazardous waste, liquids, electronics, heavy equipment, and excessive weight loads exceeding 1.5 tons. 
• Customers will be responsible for any overweight fees, damage to the dumpster, or prohibited materials found upon disposal.

3. Billing & Payments

• Payments are due in accordance with the terms of your service agreement (e.g., monthly, quarterly, or per rental).
• Late payments may result in service suspension or late fees.
• Refunds are not provided for unused service days.
• Any additional fees (overages, contamination, extended rental, overweight loads) will be billed separately.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

• Customers must provide at least 1 days' notice for service cancellation.
• Roll-off dumpster cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled delivery may incur a cancellation fee.
• Refunds will only be issued in cases where NIS fails to provide service without reasonable cause.

5. Liability & Service Interruptions

• NIS is not responsible for delays due to weather, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
• Customers must ensure safe access to their property. Blocked access may result in a missed pickup and applicable fees.
• NIS is not liable for damage to driveways, landscaping, or underground utilities due to normal service operations.

6. Customer Responsibilities

• Ensure proper use of provided bins and dumpsters.
• Prevent unauthorized use of bins/dumpsters.
• Maintain clear access to collection areas.
• Customers are automatically opted-in to SMS notifications for important informational service updates, including inclement weather, unexpected route delays, and closures. These SMS notifications will have a frequency of 1-2 times per month or less. Customers can opt-out at any time by replying "STOP" to an SMS message or informing a company representative. • All calls to NIS are recorded for training and quality assurance. To protect      customer privacy, call recordings are paused when payment information is provided.

7. Changes to Terms

NIS reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes before they take effect.
